these subs are the best buy ever they really hit hard not complaints at all the amp comes that comes with it is perfect it doesn't over heat because it has a built-in fan cooler the subs are perfect and it is an enclosed box so it give an solid hitting sound oppose to ported. this is the best package to get if you looking for a set.

I bought my subs locally they work awesome i don't even have them turned half way up and the hit really really hard they blow my friends system away and he has well over a grand in his. but i would recommend buying them locally of from a authorized dealer so you have warranty just in case. i talked with mtx to find a dealer the dealer on amazon is not a mtx dealer so you wont have a warranty but finger hut is a mtx dealer. but i do love the subs and plain on buying mtx subs for my other cars soon

Great speakers.
They won't shake the hub caps off the car next to you, but they will rattle your car pretty good. Sounds way better than systems in my friends cars and they paid much much more.

I previously purchased a lanzar 4000 watt amplifier and dual 12" ported subs to match. Not having previously heard a decent audio system, I was satisfied with the purchase and drove around thinking I was the coolest kid on the block. But once I heard my buddies 300 watt system plow my 4000 watt system, I knew i needed a change. I went to a local Custom Sounds and said "hey, yo, whats the deal?" and before i knew it, i had trashed the old lanzar speakers and picked up two of these boxes to get me going. The difference was killerrrrr. 4 of these kicker subs on my 4000 watt amp shakes the neighborhood to pieces. I haven't even turned the volume on my amp past 1... and my car is already falling apart. If you want attention from people next to you at stop lights, this is the way to go.

A lotta bang for your buck with this package. Totally worth it. If you do get this item, I recommend the 4 gauge wire, because it will make the bass kick super clear, and if you upgrade you can still use the same 4 gauge wire. The only problem I had with this is when the amp overheats it shuts off for a good half hour, sometimes longer. But if that keeps happening, it's time to get a new amp. But the subs are just fine. It's always about the amp... stupid amps...
