lets just start off as i have a problem when it comes to bass, i need to feel that beat when im driving. i used to have for 12's in my explorer but i had to get rid of the car so now i have two 12" type r's i bought an individual mrp-500 for each sub and have a 1 farad stinger capacitor hooked up to each amp. let me tell you this system will make your ears bleed, it blows anyone out of the water, all together if you bought everything store value it would be near 1200 bucks but i only paid near 500 because of amazon! dont be a fool, and shop around!

If you currently own The Alpine Type R Sub, or any sub with an RMS of 500 watts, this is the amp for you! Handles power well. Easy to connect, and has a built in Crossover.

Make sure that you get the proper speaker for this amp. This amp blow up my pioneer 12" speaker. Warning this amp produce power.

Perfect Amp for my needs.
I was surprised when I open my package and saw how small this Amp is, I immediately thought it would not put out the power claimed in the many reviews I read. Boy was I wrong, this amp paired with my 12" Alpine Type R 2ohm sub... in my opinion were made for each other. Amp puts out good, clean, continuous power (500 watts RMS at 2ohms!!!). I have about a 45 min to an hour commute to and from work, and I play my system loud the entire time. Only had the amp about two weeks, but it has yet to cutout (clip). Additionally, amp runs cool. This will be extremely beneficial come summer time. And the small package allows you to mount the sub just about anywhere.
